The CCC OD has invited Belgian artist Lieven de Boeck to design a solo exhibition specifically for the nave of the art center.
Emphasizing the recurring performative act in his work, the artist has imagined an exhibition in Tours on the theme of the Parade, taking into account the event-based dimension of the artistic act and the importance of encounters with visitors. To this end, he invented a series of experiments to be activated throughout the exhibition.
Continuing his long-term project entitled Les archives de la disparition, a reflection on the erasure of the artist in the making of the work, Lieven de Boeck is focusing his current research on the place occupied by the queer question in our systems: what is queer art?
