Car-free holidays

What if you left your car in the garage during the holidays? A perfectly feasible option in Touraine, with travel via other modes of transport.

How do I get there? Getting around Touraine

Touraine is fortunate to have very good rail links , via a dense network of Regional Express Trains and the Paris-Bordeaux TGV line, with a stop at Saint-Pierre-des-Corps (5 minutes from Tours, via a rail shuttle). Coach links have also developed significantly in recent years (FlixBus and Blablacar Bus), with attractive prices. Finally, car-sharing apps complete the range of possibilities!

Once you’re there, find a suitable transport solution (train, bus, tram, etc.) to reach your destination on the www.jvmalin.fr website. To help you get around Tours, check out the bus and tram routes on the www.filbleu.fr website.

Do you live in the Centre Val de Loire Region? The REMI Découverte pass (Réseau de Mobilité Interurbaine de la Région) offers a package at €45 for 2 days or €60 for 3 days, for a group of up to 5 people. + REMI Découverte Pass button
