The journeyby TGV from Paris Montparnasse station to Tours station takes just overan hour. Some TGVs stop a little earlier, at Saint-Pierre-des-Corps: from there, you can reach Tours in 5 minutes via a rail shuttle. Other direct TGV services are available from the Île-de-France region: Massy (Orly Airport), Marne-la-Vallée (Disneyland) and Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport.
From Paris-Austerlitz station, the journey to Tours by Train Express Régional (TER) takes a little longer, but is slightly cheaper. Most importantly, it stops atAmboise station, should that be your destination in Touraine. Please also note that from Nantes, the TER takes you to Langeais station in 1 hour 30 minutes.
