As part of the Festival du Livre jeunesse organized by the Touraine Vallée de l'Indre library network, come and meet illustrator and author Gaëlle Duhazé, and leave with a signed album!
Gaëlle Duhazé is an illustrator and author for young people. With a degree in art history, she was destined to study 19th-century painting. But she preferred to turn her pencils to museums. In 2007, she embarked on a self-taught career in illustration.
A few years later, she began writing her own stories, and in 2016 published her first fiction album as an author-illustrator, Chaton pâle et les Insupportables petits messieurs, published by HongFei. Gaëlle loves illustrating fantasy and animal stories, drawing inspiration from Asian cosmogonies and writing
