Escapes in the Loire September's rendez-vous in the vineyards!

On 30 and 31 August 2025, book your weekend in the vineyards with the 22ᵉ edition of échappées en Loire (formerly “Vignes Vins et Randos”): hikes are on offer departing from several vineyards in the Loire Valley, starting of course with Touraine!

A wonderful encounter between hiking and Loire wines

Dive into the heart of vineyards and tourist cellars by signing up for the 2025 edition of Echappées en Loire. In a beautiful spirit of conviviality and simplicity, you’ll stroll through the winegrowing landscapes, accompanied by a winegrower willingly sharing his know-how and the particularities of the terroirs. Also taste the vintages presented by nearby estates before returning to the ephemeral departure village, with food trucks, entertainment and, of course, sales of the wines that have seduced you the most!

Price / €12 per adult with pre-registration. 5 for under-18s, free for under-3s.

Loire Escapes in Touraine

Saturday 30 August at Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil

Village set up at Les Dormants sports complex, with wooden games for children, musical entertainment, local produce market, food truck, wine sales and tasting. Programme:

7km walking tour (3h) with departures every 30 minutes from 10am to 3.30pm, including visits to the La Chevallerie, Sylvain Bruneau and Frédéric Mabileau estates.
16.5km mountain bike tour (2);
“Vineyard school” educational event at 11.30am (booking required).

Sunday 31 August at Esvres-sur-Indre

Village set up at the Maison Rousseau estate, with wooden games for children, refreshment stand & snacking, wine sales and tasting. Programme:

7.2km walk through the vineyards of the Touraine Noble Joué appellation, with departures every 15 minutes from 9am to 11.45am, and discovery of the Cosson estate.
10km walk (30 minutes) in a classic car. Very few places available: be the first to book!
