While it’s not uncommon to come across hikers, cyclists and canoeists in Touraine, you may also come across a few horse riders enjoying a leisurely stroll on horseback. In the heart of the Loire Valley, let yourself be carried along by the quiet steps of the horses for an unforgettable ride through vineyards, enchanting woods and majestic châteaux.

An equestrian activity for all levels

Beginners or experienced riders, rest assured. Horse rides naturally adapt to your level. Enjoy a one-hour ride in the countryside for a first contact, or embark on a more ambitious horse trek if you’re more experienced.

Children aren’t left out with sessions specially designed for them. On the backs of ponies selected for their character, they discover the joys of outdoor riding in complete safety.

      Horse riding: information

      Book your slot at least 48 hours in advance with the riding centres. Remember to wear comfortable clothing and closed shoes. Helmets are provided on plac, guaranteeing your safety throughout the adventure. Don’t forget your camera to immortalise these unique moments as you ride along!
