Awarded the Pays d’art et d’histoire label, this area showcases its cultural treasures through a wide range of cultural events, put on by enthusiastic mediators.

One region, 4 destinations

To the east of Tours, four destinations make up the Pays Loire Touraine, drawing in particular on its expertise in understanding and promoting heritage. As well as the world-famous châteaux of Amboise, Clos Lucé and Chenonceau, there are many other sites to discover. Some of them only open their doors on rare occasions, or even only during tours organised by the region.
