A 12th-century château, with additions from the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries, previously owned by the Marquis de Cinq Mars. This favourite of Louis XIII was executed, and his château dismantled, after he was convicted of treason against Cardinal Richelieu.
Feudal castle from the Xth century, reshaped until the XVth and XVIth centuries, it belonged to the mother of the Marquis de Cinq-Mars. This favorite of Louis XIII was executed and, according to the legend imagined by Alfred de Vigny, his castle was dismantled for treason against Richelieu. You could visit the 2 round towers from the XIIth and XIIIth century, the bridge and the moats from the XVIth century.
