2 minutes from Chenonceaux and 10 minutes from Amboise, the castle of Civray-de-Touraine was built in 1715 by Louis Lhomme de la Pinsonnière, servant of Louis XIV. The castle was remodeled under the Restoration and extended by two pavilions. The 4-hectare property has a landscaped park made up of hundred-year-old trees, colorful flowerbeds, a basin with a fountain ... It is an enchanting setting where architecture and nature come together to create a timeless place. Guided tour of the ground floor of the castle and its exteriors (by appointment for groups). Hosting events (cocktails, baptisms, weddings ...) with a breathtaking view of the castle. The park and part of the castle of Civray-de-Touraine have been classified as Historical Monuments since 1947.
