Rue de la République, 37220 L' Île-Bouchard
The church dates from the 15th century, and culminates in a fine stone spire decorated with openwork sculptures. The octagonal bell tower was constructed in 1480. The flamboyant Renaissance naves are supported by pillars adorned with medallions.
This former priory was inhabited by a community of monks. It became a parish in the mid-XIIIth century. Small apses surround the central semi-circular apse. The tiled roof was recently renovated Info sheets: F.
