Every morning, a fresh start!
From a single place of accommodation, multiply your escapades thanks to a dense network of cycling loops, complemented by greenways and major cycle routes to be taken in round-trip mode.
- From Tours, take the bicycle loops of Tours Métropole (Villandry, at the end of the world; from one bank to the other; Rochecorbon, between the Loire and vineyards) or cycle to the Valmer gardens (Saint-Jacques à Vélo);
- From Amboise, head for Tours, Chaumont-sur-Loire (La Loire à Vélo) and Chenonceaux (loop 47: “La Voie Royale”)
- From Chenonceaux, head east or west along the Cher on Cœur de France à Vélo, descend to Chédigny on the Cyclo bohème, and cycle on loops 13, 18, 44 and 47.
- From Loches, explore the national forest with the loops “L’échappée royale” and “L’Âne et le Roi”, head off on routes 61 and 62, or ride the Cyclo Bohème!
- From Langeais, follow La Loire à Vélo, and 3 loops: “From Romans to Knights”, “Between Val and Coteau”, “Along the water from port to port.”
- From Lake Rillé and its village Huttopia, escape with your hands on the handlebars “in the heart of the Savignéen region”, “between nature and sculpture”, or between “wild or mastered nature”!
- From Chinon, follow La Loire à Vélo to Candes-Saint-Martin, one of France’s most beautiful villages, or the greenway leading all the way to Richelieu. You can also cycle in the footsteps of Rabelais, and between Chinon and the Vienne valley.
