Bring the whole family on a travelling holiday! For children, this break away from their daily routine will quickly take on an adventurous flavour. It’s a memorable experience, especially as there’s no shortage of “kid-friendly” stops in Touraine!

With children on the Loire à Vélo

We might as well start with the queen of cycle routes, easily accessible by train from a number of locations and particularly well provided with accommodation and other services suited to cycle tourists. Pedal through the heart of the Val de Loire, a World Heritage site, and plan stops that will delight the whole family. The confectionery conservatory, the Touraine aquarium, the sensitive natural area of Ile de la Métairie, the lake’s aquatic centre, the gardens of Villandry or the royal fortress of Chinon and its monument game… so many breaks that will make for happy memories!

      After La Loire à Vélo, opt for other destinations to explore in Touraine, again by bike. Here too, there will always be points of interest appreciated by the young travellers accompanying you. Here are just a few examples:
      – Cœur de France à Vélo => Canoe or electric boat without a licence under the arches of Chenonceau. And a little further afield, the Beauval ZooPark!
      – Cyclo Bohème: the troglodytic valley of Goupillières, the Fortress of Montbazon, the Naturéo Water Park…
      – Saint-Jacques à Vélo => the Family Park leisure park, the water complex at Camping le Parc de Fierbois…
