Souq? Jazz Machine was born in 2001 under the impetus of a dozen saxophonists, quickly joined by a rhythm section (drums, bass, piano) and a brass section to meet the needs of the stage. After numerous performances in bars, private parties and various events, in a predominantly jazz style, this band of friends evolved into the big band we know today. Accompanied by a crooner and two female vocalists, the concerts are full of enthusiasm and good vibes, and the band is keen to get the audience involved! The atmosphere is Latin, jazz and funky, with a repertoire ranging from Duke Ellington to James Brown, Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles.
