Description
The Allegria ensemble offers a nuanced musical journey through works by composers of varied origins. This journey through time and space continues with poems set to music, and ends with a joy shared with the audience.
For this new program, the Allegria ensemble, under the direction of its conductor Catherine Cardin, takes you on a musical journey full of nuances. Through works rooted in religious traditions, sometimes lyrical, by composers of varied origins, this concert invites you to travel through time and space.
From the depth of a Miserere to the hope of an Ora Nona, via the moving prayer of an Ave Maria, this musical journey gradually becomes clearer. It continues with French poems set to music by Gounod and Fauré, before ending with a joy shared with you, our dear audience.
And because every light has its surprises? we've saved a few for you.
The vocal ensemble will be accompanied on piano by Alain Davignon.
