This unique exhibition highlights the links between the Prince of Poets and the artists of his time, through rare works such as scores, instruments, paintings and first editions. Photographer and poet Marc Blanchet also offers his own vision, with black-and-white photographs
The aim of this exhibition is to highlight not only the poet?s approach to the arts, but also the way in which the arts have taken hold of Ronsard?s poetry and character, from the 16th century to the present day. In particular, it explores Ronsard?s relationship with music, song, courtly entertainment and the visual arts of his time (drawing, engraving, sculpture, painting, architecture, etc.).
