The Grande Remontée de Loire, a counter-current navigation from the Loire downstream to the Loire upstream, takes place from September 1 to 23, 2025, from Nantes to Orléans. Around a hundred sailors will be at the helm of a flotilla of boats stopping at Amboise on September 15.

A hundred or so sailors, manning a flotilla of boats, will take part in this great voyage at the confluence of inland navigation, science and the arts.
