Afghan women are invisible to the Taliban. No longer allowed to go to school after the age of 12, no longer allowed to work, no longer allowed to go out on their own. In 2022, the association set up 11 secret classes to enable little girls to continue learning. School is held in the teacher's home in the mornings.
The association finances the teachers' salaries. All proceeds from the show will be donated to finance the teachers' salaries.
The show is a reading of poems written by Afghan women, translated into French and accompanied on guitar by Kévin Goubern, a musician from Touraine. 10 women readers from Touraine will read these poems, directed by Marie-Laure Thébault, singer and actress.
