The Orgues de Notre-Dame-La-Riche invite the ensemble La Florinda, soloists, choir and orchestra, in a program dedicated to French Baroque music. Spanning the second half of the 17th century and the early 18th, this concert plunges you into the music of the Grand Siècle: the virtuoso fantasy of the tragédie lyrique, marvelously represented by the famous Lully, is matched by the fervent ardor of Charpentier and his sacred pieces, and Mondonville's dazzling Dominus regnavit. The program also includes works by Jean-Baptiste Moreau and Antoine Forqueray.wife of Louis XIV, composed the poignant Esther, based on Antoine Forqueray, for her Demoiselles de Saint-Cyr.
