In a small country village, a group of nuns look after the pensioners at the local EHPAD. With the building falling into disrepair, they decide to go to the town hall to ask for a grant. While there, they learn that the town hall is not awarding any more grants this year, as the entire budget has been spent on the first prize in a bicycle race. The sisters decide to enter the race.
