Théâtre de l'Ante has been commissioned by the Indre-et-Loire departmental council to tour the Touraine region every summer as part of a program to promote and raise awareness of theater.
Théâtre de l'Ante was born in 1980 from the professionalization of a university company. It has a dual mission of creation and dissemination, training and animation. Its shows combine the lives and works of literary figures such as George Sand, Courteline, Rabelais and Molière.
