For its 8th edition, the Festival du Cinéma des Utopies Réelles is back in Tours and will be dedicated to the theme “Healing! The Utopias of Care.”

For the occasion, they are inviting Astérotypie—a French post-punk band formed in 2010 at the Institut Médico-Éducatif de Bourg-la-Reine—to perform at Le Bateau. Composed of four autistic singers, the band is known for its powerful lyrics and unique stage energy. With their albums *Aucun mec ne ressemble à Brad Pitt dans la Drôme* in 2022 and *Patami* in 2024, Ast%E9r%E9otypie’s music blends punk and alternative rock influences, offering an authentic perspective on the world and a full range of emotions. An evening our venue has been dreaming of hosting ever since it launched in 2020.
