The Bleue Quintet is a fusion of chamber music, classical culture and electronic music, performed by five adventurous cellists. Composed by cellist Paul Colomb, the music is steeped in the decor of his childhood: the industrial port of Saint-Nazaire, where maritime energy rubs shoulders with post-war architecture. Celtic flights, punk energy, techno improvisations and the emotional power of the cello intertwine in a vibrant fresco carried by five virtuoso performers of contagious vitality.
