The members of the Cémé Quartet came together through a shared passion for the string quartet. The quartet consists of: Emma Lefort-Perreaut (violin), Marie Dubousset (violin), Elo%EFse Saenz (viola), and Claire Myers (Claire Myers). Winners of the Rosenthal Competition in April 2026, the Cémé Quartet is planning its first tour with a dozen concerts in July, from the Basque Country to Brittany, via Touraine. They will perform a challenging repertoire featuring Felix Mendelssohn’s String Quartets No. 2, Op. 13, and No. 6, Op. 80 by Felix Mendelssohn, as well as the first movement of the String Quartet in E-flat major by his sister, Fanny Mendelssohn. The musicians of the Cémé Quartet thus present a committed repertoire, true to their humanistic and musical values.
