The observatory invites you to observe this major eclipse together, and will give you the keys to understanding it. The Sun will begin to "eat" the Moon at 7.20pm, and the eclipse will be at its maximum at 8.20pm.
Please note: an eclipse can only be viewed with suitable glasses.
A major eclipse of the Sun will take place in Europe this summer; it will be total to the north of Spain, and this encounter between the Moon and the Sun will also be visible throughout France. Over 94% of our star will disappear in Touraine, and an average of 89% in the rest of France.
The observatory invites you to observe this event together, and will give you the keys to understanding it. The Sun will begin to "eat" the Moon at 7.20pm, with the eclipse reaching its maximum at 8.20pm.
