Exposition Préludes et préambules

François Pagé studied art history at the École du Louvre before earning a national degree in visual arts from the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Tours. In his studio in Chambray-lès-Tours, he creates works in which primordial color becomes a language. Each painting is inspired by a poetic or philosophical literary title, with the words serving as the visual starting point for the composition. François Pagé works primarily in oil and acrylic on canvas, layering the media and creating a dialogue between them to produce compositions with varied brushstrokes, rich in texture and chromatic intensity.
