Exposition "Six pieds sous terre"

Come along to the Aimé Césaire Media Centre to discover the exhibition “Six Feet Under” from Tuesday 13 to Saturday 31 October 2026. “With ‘Six pieds sous terre’, Mickaël Soutif invites young and old alike to explore the theme of death with humour, poetry and colour, through meticulous murals created using modelling clay. Inspired by his picture books *Catrina* and *Danse Macabre*, the exhibition blends the Mexican Day of the Dead, macabre figures from the Middle Ages and imagery drawn from other cultures.” On 14 October, three workshops will be held at 10.00, 15.00 and 16.30 with the artist Mickaël Soutif. Workshops on decorating Mexican skulls (calaveras) or creating small boxes featuring skeletons. Free of charge.
