FESTIVALOIRE returns to Amboise on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Enjoy a variety of concerts, exhibitions, contests, lectures and activities starting at 10:00 a.m. On the program: 10:00 a.m.: Fishing activity on the Loire River for children ages 7 to 14 11:00 a.m.: Concert by the Historiales Amboisiennes vocal ensemble 11:30 a.m.: Official opening of the event 2:00 p.m.: One-man theatrical performance “Les gens de Noé” 3:00 p.m.: Gestural lecture “My Garum Is Political, My Slowness Is Anything but Poetic” 4:00 p.m.: Lecture on the Loire: “Mussel, Are You There?
