Kiende : Cie la Tarbasse

An ode to meeting new people, full of energy! This duet, a man and a woman, accompanied by David Millet?s live music, is an ode to the welcome and care we all give to each other, along the paths of our lives... Kiendé means "Welcome" in Mooré, a dialect of Burkina Faso, but in a deeper sense, it also means to bring courage and strength to someone. The two dancers? own dance is above all about action, the spontaneity of the body and the dynamics of raw, authentic gestures that are both gentle and fluid, and full of lively energy. Mélodie is short and blond, Gaétan tall and dark-haired. They are about the same age. They complement each other and have fun going beyond the limits of their bodies, playing games with each other
