Description
Open Screens, Tasting, Opening Reception
With his sensitive and slightly offbeat short films, Pierrick Chilloux captures fragments of life the way one collects memories found at the bottom of a pocket. A belote player, a bride-to-be, a doctoral student imitating a whale, or a man lost in a forest become the heroes of a documentary film that is tender, funny, and deeply human. The perspective is simple, never spectacular, but always spot-on.
In the gallery, Sarah Guidoin’s textile works will extend this focus on materials and intimate stories.
And to accompany this bittersweet journey, Mathilde Sauvete will be on hand to share her organic and biodynamic wines from Touraine.
