"La Cause Commune" is a musical and dramatic production that blends remembrance and social commitment, staged in collaboration with the Fractales association and its collective, comprising five musicians and two actor-singers. La Cause Commune is an original production that plunges the audience into the heart of a historic and intimate dialogue between two iconic figures of the 19th century: Victor Hugo, an exile searching for meaning through his séances, and Louise Michel, an uncompromising revolutionary whose letters resonate as a call to action. This production, at the crossroads of contemporary music, theatre and performance art, offers a sensitive and political exploration of their relationship, through an immersive staging and a musical composition by Simone Tolomeo.
