Amateur theater operates through associations, so staging a Molière play requires a careful casting of roles, which can pose a problem when presenting a play in its entirety. To get around this, we’ve worked on several excerpts so that every actor can find their place: excerpts from *The Bourgeois Gentleman*, *The Doctor in Spite of Himself*, *The Miser*, *The Misanthrope*, *Tartuffe*, and *Don Juan*. We chose to take Molière out of Wikipedia and ask him about his work and his life.
