Description

From July 8 to August 6, Karine Durant—who feels a deep connection to nature through her Land Art photographs and her work with Sumi ink alongside Louise Mélé, who is deeply attached to the animal world, will adorn the entrance to the church with their creations
St. Nicholas Church, consecrated dedicated to prayer, houses 12th-century frescoes that are on display at the Cité de l’Architecture at the Trocadéro in Paris. This beautiful Romanesque church also occasionally hosts artists from the region. From July 8 to August 6, Karine Durant—who is deeply connected to nature through her Land Art photographs and her work in Indian ink with Sumi and Louise Mélé— who is deeply attached to the animal world, will adorn the church’s entrance with their creations and instantly immerse us in a contemplative energy that invites reflection. Tours of the crypt, the church, and the “Animal and Plant Lives” exhibition take place Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
