What activities are available for an EVJF? Programme for a hen party

The weekend queen can be sporty, girly, adventurous, curious, a foodie, a party girl or a bit of everything all at once. No problem! For example, the Loire and its tributaries are rather calm rivers that are great for canoing or paddleboarding; in fine weather, combine this with a night in a bivouac! On a traditional boat, you can enjoy the scenery without having to row; the aperitif on board packages are particularly popular. More sporty? Opt for rafting, a wake park, an introduction to Pole Dance, a Bachata class, a tree run, Loisirs Centre games or even an outing on horseback or electric scooter. More vintage? A half-day with Marinette’s mopeds, rallying with 2CV Tour or on a ride with Chinon vintage Tour!!

Create your head by booking an escape game. The workshops also allow time for creative sharing. You can try your hand at pottery with Ana Céramique, wicker basketry with the Marie-Hélène Métézeau Art Centre, and of course various cooking and tasting classes, with Rendez-vous dans les vignes. It’s only a short step from there to being tempted by a refined dinner, which will take you to one of the fine restaurants of Touraine. After all, it’s not every day you have a hen party!

If you’re coming to Touraine, take the opportunity to visit a château. Walk in the footsteps of Leonardo da Vinci in Amboise, or in the alleys of the gardens of Villandry: it’s up to you. In particular, you can reach them by bike. As you pedal along, you’ll no doubt spot some neatly lined-up vines. Don’t forget to book an activity at a winery: great memories guaranteed!
