Combine festivities and some serious fork work with meat restaurant Gueuleton, a troglodyte establishment based in Montlouis-sur-Loire. Beforehand, plan a visit and tasting at the Maison Laudacius, a group of 18 winegrowers working no fewer than 170 hectares of vineyards. And while we’re on the subject of vineyards, a full vineyard tour with Vincent Delaby (VinoLoire) is guaranteed to be a great time, as you discover some little nuggets. He has the key to many a cellar…

But let’s get back to gastronomy: a Michelin-starred restaurant or similar is also a good idea. Just like the one that Food Tours had, showing off the Touraine capital via its most gourmet addresses. And if you fancy a picnic on an electric boat!
