Despite its turbulent history, particularly during the Wars of Religion, the village has retained much of its medieval structure, which is clustered around the Collegiate Church of Saint-Georges and crowns a hill.
Despite its turbulent history, particularly during the Wars of Religion, the village has retained much of its medieval structure, clustered around the Collégiale Saint-Georges and crowning a hill. At the foot of the village, the Château de la Grillière, a 16th-century dwelling refurbished in the 17th century, illustrates seigneurial life in a rural setting.
