Éléonore False has conceived the exhibition "S?ur de jour" in the spirit of collage, her preferred medium. She brings together works produced over the past dozen years, recomposing them into new ensembles and inventories according to their sensitive and poetic affinities. At the heart of the exhibition, an installation plunges us into an evocation of the intimate, of skin and its finery. The peripheral galleries open up to the world of the living through a wide selection of collages. Herbaria and bestiaries, anatomy and decorative arts treatises interweave their forms, motifs and textures in hybrid representations that reinvent reality.
