ADT Touraine - L. de Serres

The best views for 14 july fireworks!

When the Fête Nationale comes round, Touraine lights up with a thousand fires! Between the Loire, Cher and Creuse, the reflections of the pyrotechnic shows amaze young and old alike. Here’s where to feast your eyes!

The best spots

The festivities kick off on Sunday 12 July in Bléré (Parc de la Gâtine, with a concert, DJ and show beforehand) on the banks of the Cher, as well as at the Monnaie lake and in Genillé. On Monday 13 July, there will be events at Ile Bouchard on the banks of the Vienne, and at Azay-sur-Cher and Larçay, near the Cher. The same applies to Chambray-lès-Tours lake (lakeside, with refreshment stalls and restaurants from 7.30pm) and Bretonnières lake(Joué-lès-Tours and Ballan-Miré), with superb light shows.

A spectacular 14th July

In Tours, be surprised by a new drone show in the Parc de la Gloriette, which follows on from the firemen’s ball organised on the eve of the bank holidays at the Caserne Chassagne, Boulevard Richard Wagner). On the banks of the Loire, Amboise is a key destination for the evening of 14 July. Its fireworks display will be fired at 11pm from the eastern tip of the Île d’Or. Other places to visit are also well worth a visit:

  • Chinon, opposite the royal fortress, on the banks of the Vienne.
  • Descartes and its superb view over the Creuse (discover the René Boylesve garden).
  • Hommes and its water features (programme to come).

Other dates to note

Other towns and villages in Indre-et-Loire will also be lighting up their skies:

  • La Ville-aux-Dames, on Monday 13 July at the Etang Robineau. The same date for Vouvray, Chambon and Champigny-sur-Veude.
  • Cormery, Vernou-sur-Brenne and Le Grand Pressigny on Tuesday 14 July.
  • Yzeures-sur-Creuse: extension of the festivities with a bonfire on Saturday 18 July 2026. Same date for Chambourg-sur-Indre and Loché-sur-Indrois.
  • Bléré: fireworks display as part of the Jour de Cher event, also on 18 July.
