Stroll through the enchanted gardens of Château du Rivau! All weekend long, little ones (3 to 5 years old / at 10.30 am and 5 pm) will hunt for eggs with their parents. Near Descartes, discover the Ani’Maurice educational farm: during these 3 days, egg hunts take place at 11am, 2pm and 4pm, also by reservation. In addition, pony rides, pedal tractors, treasure hunts and a yoghurt bar will keep the kids happy!
Make the most of one of Touraine’s major springtime events: the plant festival at the Château de la Bourdaisière, with a host of exhibitors, talks, the sale of tomato plants from the château, and… 2 egg hunts, with registration required: for children aged 3 to 5 at 10.30am, and for families at 11.15am.
Take part in the treasure hunt organised by the Château d’Azay-le-Rideau. Children have to find the “beacon eggs”, then solve the riddles… with a few chocolates on offer at the end of the game! At the Château d’Ussé, a princess and a rabbit will be handing out chocolates to young and old alike! Activities are available throughout the Easter weekend, without reservation and at no extra charge.
At the Domaine de Candé(Monts), young explorers can meet up on Sunday 5 April 2026 from 10am to 4pm. Without booking, but subject to stock availability (€2/person), set off in search of 15 golden eggs giving access to a big reward…
In Amboise, the Easter bells will also be ringing in the Parc des Mini-Châteaux (Sunday and Monday) and the Pagode de Chanteloup (Monday). And don’t forget Château Gaillard, which is open all weekend and will be extending its activities during the April holidays.
