Vinoloire A captivating journey into the heart of the Touraine vineyards

Discover the secrets of the Touraine vineyards! Every visit is a wonderful adventure, taking you through lush green hillsides and mysterious cellars. From sun-drenched vineyards to underground galleries carved into the tuffeau limestone, let Vincent Delaby – your guide to our region’s wine treasures – lead the way on a captivating journey through the heart of the finest estates.

Guided tours of the vineyard

History, but also the terroirs, the grape varieties, vineyard work, cave-dwelling cellars and wine tasting: with simplicity and good humour, Vincent Delaby explores all these aspects that make wine a consumer product quite unlike any other.

Wine: a passion passed down through the generations

To set up VinoLoire, Vincent drew on his first two professional experiences: working as a guide in Quebec’s national parks, and then, upon his return to France, spending around ten years working in the vineyards and cellars.

It is therefore as a true connoisseur that he has forged close partnerships with numerous wine estates, whether in the Bourgueil, Amboise, Chinon or Vouvray, with a view to catering for both individuals and groups (wine clubs, corporate seminars, stag and hen parties, etc.). He’s got the key to many a wine cellar! 😉

The art of wine tasting in the Loire Valley

Close your eyes and let your senses awaken: the subtle aromas of Loire wines tell a story stretching back a thousand years. In the cellars, your introduction to wine tasting becomes a unique experience where every sip reveals the secrets of the terroir. Learn to decipher the nuances of a Vouvray, to appreciate the structure of a Chinon, and to recognise the signature of a grand cru. Alongside winegrowers who are passionate about their craft, refine your palate during exclusive tastings at family-run estates. A wonderful shared experience where the art of blending is revealed, blending tradition and innovation.

Depending on your time, your preferences and your budget…

A 2-hour, 4-hour or full-day tour? It’s up to you, but naturally we’ll tend to suggest you opt for a full day (transport included), for a memorable overview of the Loire Valley’s wine-growing landscape.

Your journey with VinoLoire can then continue, for example, aboard a traditional boat or over a picnic amongst the vines, before discovering another hidden gem: the cellar at the Pierre Sourdais estate in Cravant-les-Coteaux (Chinon AOC), painstakingly dug out over some thirty years. A life’s work! And yes, there are certainly plenty of stories to tell over a glass of wine. With VinoLoire, there’s no doubt you’ll thoroughly enjoy turning a few pages of the great story of Loire wines.
